Published on 10th November 2025 in Archive ArticlesThe Victory Cup commenced in 1919 when Club President Arthur Charles Gillam donated a trophy to mark the cessation of World War I. It was originally to be called the Peace Cup, but this was changed to the Victory Cup prior to being first contested.
