Archives & Heritage: Campion Cup – 1925

The Campion Cup had its genesis in 1925, when Campion, then Governor of WA, provided a trophy for a mixed foursomes event. Impressed by the event’s success, Campion then donated a perpetual trophy to carry his name for the following year, and thereafter the event became known as the Campion Cup.
