The Introduction to Golf Program<\/strong> is for Women who would like to learn to play golf and join a quality golf club like Royal Perth and is open to all Women 18 years of age and over who do not yet have a handicap OR their handicap is 36 or more (exceptions may be made at discretion of Women\u2019s Captain and the Director of Golf if applicant is returning after an absence from golf).<\/p>\n

From February 2026 for new applicants the program will be split into two distinct stages.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Introduction to Golf Coaching<\/strong>\n
      \n
    1. Open to beginner or intermediate level female golfers (and current members)<\/li>\n
    2. Aimed at teaching basic skills of long game, short game and on-course play<\/li>\n
    3. 9 Weeks of Group PGA Coaching with the goal of preparing you for the next steps toward playing\/club membership.<\/li>\n
    4. Maximum 24 Places available.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    5. Introduction to Golf Membership<\/strong>\n
        \n
      1. Only available for those who have successfully completed step 1, ITG Coaching.<\/li>\n
      2. Commences after Coaching Program<\/li>\n
      3. Includes course access during designated times with the assistance of Volunteers<\/li>\n
      4. Includes Clubhouse membership and access to Food & Beverage services & Club Functions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The membership is for 6 months for a fee of $800. With the option to extend for a further 3 months at a time for the cost of $400.<\/p>\n

        Upon completion of the 12 months of Introduction to Golf Membership, participants will be invited to apply for membership via the normal application process with the inclusion of 10% discount off your first year of subscriptions.<\/p>\n

        Introduction to Golf Coaching, commencing in Friday 13th \/ Saturday 14th February 2026<\/strong> is now FULL.<\/p>\n

        We will be hosting another intake commencing in June – registrations will open in April 2026.<\/p>\n
