Royal Perth Golf Club has a strong history dating back to 1895, when the club commenced on Burswood Island before moving to Wattle Grove Farm, Belmont in 1900 and then to its current site in 1908. Royal Perth Golf Club is the oldest golf club in metropolitan Western Australia (WA) and was awarded its royal status in 1937.
Genuine passion for the industry and good food and wine is attributed as fundamental to Royal Perth Golf Club's (RPGC) success. The vision for RPGC is to deliver restaurant quality food each and every time.

Deborah Hupje - House ManagerDeborah Hupje is originally from Holland but has been a Perth resident for fourteen years now. Her professional background lies predominantly in working in the club environment. She has been a dedicated Royal Perth Golf Club employee for two years. |

John O'Hara - Head ChefJohn O'Hara is originally from Ireland but completed his apprenticeship in and around London during the eighties and has been calling Perth his home for the past twenty years. Prior to working at the Royal Perth Golf Club he has worked in places such as Kings Park and The Vines Country Club and Resort. John finds that he is typically inspired by the evolving and changing nature of food and as such aims to keep his food simple and fresh. In order to pass his food knowledge and love onto others, John holds a Chef's workshop once a month where he and 10 lucky students create a scrumptious 3 course meal. |
