All Members and visitors are required to abide by the following minimum dress standards. It is the responsibility of club members to ensure their guests are aware of dress regulations and abide by them.
Members - Men

GOLF ATTIRE ON THE COURSE, AT PRACTICE AREAS AND SURROUNDS
- Shirts must have collars and all shirts must be neatly tucked in at the waist. Turtle / roll neck style jumpers and tops are acceptable golf attire.
- Trousers and shorts must be tailored and worn with a belt, when provided with belt loops. Elasticised, draw-string, or cargo style pants and three quarter length pants (with the exception of plus fours) are not acceptable.
- Players in shorts may wear long white socks or short white socks which cover the ankle. Socks with the Royal Perth Golf Club logo or affiliated club logos are acceptable. Secret / hidden socks may not be worn.
- Golf shoes are to be worn on the course.
On the Verandah, in Grumble Gully and in the Casual Bar
- Golf attire as described above may be worn in these areas any day of the week
Main Lounge and Dining Room
- Jackets and ties are not essential, except for formal and nominated events.
- Golf attire with street shoes may be worn until 4.00pm any day of the week.
- After 4.00pm, neat casual attire consisting of tailored trousers, dress shoes and fully buttoned shirts tucked into trousers with collars are required. Turtle/roll neck style jumpers and tops are acceptable.
- Members may collect food and drinks from the Lounge Bar dressed in golf attire with street shoes at all times.
- Members in golf attire with street shoes are allowed to access Grumble Gully and the Locker Rooms via the Lounge.
- Golf attire is not permitted at any other time except at the invitation of the Captain during presentations.
Members - Women

GOLF ATTIRE ON THE COURSE, AT PRACTICE AREAS AND SURROUNDS.
- Skirts, tailored shorts, tailored mid-calf pants and tailored slacks are required.
- Shirts must have collars.
- Tailored, fitted shirts may be worn outside provided they are not longer than mid hip length.
- Golf shoes are to be worn on the course.
On the Verandah, in Grumble Gully and in the Casual Bar
Golf attire as described above may be worn in these areas any day of the week.
Clubhouse, Lounge and Dining Room
- Golf attire with street shoes may be worn until 4:00pm any day of the week.
- After 4.00pm smart casual wear is required.
- Golf shoes are not permitted at any time.
A comprehensive "Dress requirements for Women Members" is posted in the locker room and the committee will update as fashion dictates.
Members - Men & Women
The following items are not permitted at Royal Perth Golf Club except for short term visits.
- Denim jeans/trousers, denim shorts/skirts, denim shirts, denim coats or denim jackets.
- Tracksuits.
- Cargo style shorts or trousers.
- Any shirt with bold advertising, logos or bold screen printing.
- Runners, tennis shoes, shoes without socks.
- Shirts worn outside of trousers.
The following items are not permitted at Royal Perth Golf Club at any time.
Thongs, sandals
Singlets, surf shirts and board shirts.
Short Term Visits to the Club
Members wishing to acces the Office, Pro-shop, Locker Rooms, or Buggy sheds for a short period of time (ie 5 to 10 minutes) are not required to strictly follow the dress code as detailed above.
When exercising these privileges members are urged to have particular regard to the status and dignity of the club.
